We are a specialist cyber security consulting group experiencing strong growth and are looking for a Relationship Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding and activating our partner ecosystem.
This is not a traditional “hunter” sales role.
Instead, you’ll work closely with cyber security technology vendors and IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs), embedding yourself in partner environments, building trusted relationships, and positioning yourself as their go-to cyber security advisor. Those relationships generate referral-led consulting opportunities that you’ll own end-to-end – from qualification through to close.
This role is ideal for someone who:

- Comes from cyber, MSP or consulting sales and wants more depth and trust
- Is commercially strong, but doesn’t want high-pressure, numbers-only sales culture

You’ll be trusted to manage your relationships and pipeline with a strong degree of autonomy, supported by a respected consulting team and leadership who value long-term partnerships over short-term activity metrics.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partner Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned cyber security vendors and MSP partners
- Spend meaningful, in-person time with partners to build trust, credibility and mindshare
- Educate partners on our consulting services, capabilities, and value proposition
- Provide high-level cyber security guidance when partners need support with client questions
- Help partners identify, qualify, and progress referral opportunities.
Sales & Opportunity Ownership
- Own partner-sourced consulting opportunities from qualification through to close
- Scope cyber security consulting engagements, including advisory, penetration testing and uplift programs
- Develop professional proposals and statements of work
- Manage opportunities end-to-end, with a strong focus on value, outcomes and fit.
Partner Ecosystem Growth
- Identify and onboard new cyber security vendors and MSP partners
- Build long-term, strategic relationships that generate consistent referral pipelines
- Collaborate with internal consulting teams to ensure partner-sourced engagements are delivered successfully.
Internal Collaboration & Market Feedback
- Work closely with technical consultants to validate scopes and align on delivery capability
- Provide market and partner insights to inform service development and strategy.
What You Bring
Essential
- Experience in a sales, channel, or partner-facing role within cyber security, IT services, or consulting
- Strong understanding of cyber security consulting concepts and common client challenges
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF
- Confidence scoping consulting engagements and translating needs into structured proposals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of closing opportunities
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple partner relationships.
Desirable
- Existing relationships within cyber security vendors or MSPs
Experience working in or alongside consulting organisations
Technical background or certifications (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CISM) – beneficial but not required.
