About the role
As an experienced Penetration Tester, you will support the delivery of offensive security engagements, working closely with clients to identify vulnerabilities and improve security postures. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical skills and a passion for ethical hacking, who is looking to grow their expertise in a collaborative and innovative environment.
At a high level, the role will undertake the following:
- Technical Execution: Assisting in the delivery of offensive security engagements such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and red teaming
- Tooling & Research: Supporting the development and enhancement of offensive security tools, scripts, and methodologies to improve testing capabilities
- Client Support: Collaborating with clients to understand their environment and provide clear, actionable findings and recommendations
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with team members to share knowledge, contribute to internal projects, and continuously improve service delivery
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all deliverables meet internal quality standards and contribute to client satisfaction.
Experience and Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or a related cybersecurity role
- Proven, demonstrable experience in an offensive and technical security consulting role, with a track record of delivery excellence and service innovation
- A strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends across offensive security practices
- A team-first mentality, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels with clients, partners and internally
- Ability to effectively communicate, through verbal and written means, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies to support client leadership in making informed decisions
- Deep technical and demonstrated experience in cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and methodologies across a variety of offensive security engagement types (web application, infrastructure, mobile application, physical, wireless etc.)
- Familiarity with common offensive security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.) and techniques
- A strong understanding of cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and on-premises infrastructure
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges and develop practical solutions
- Strong commitment to staying current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the cybersecurity landscape to support forward-looking services
- Preferred industry certifications such as CREST and OSCP
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain AGSVA security clearance.
