Filipe is a cyber security consultant with over two decades’ experience as a security manager, network administrator and systems engineer. He is one of MyEmpire Group’s lead assessors for Essential Eight clients and has worked with dozens of organisations from large to small. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has worked in Portugal, South Africa, and Australia, gaining IT and cyber security experience in numerous industries, including logistics, education and insurance.

Leon Friend

Principal Sales Engineer, ConnectWise

Leon is a veteran of the Australian IT industry with over 28 years’ experience, including 14+ years in cyber security; network and end point protection. He currently works as Principal Sales Engineer at ConnectWise. Leon is also a certified instructor, providing technical training to reseller system engineers, end users and project teams. He holds over 31 licenses and certifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Security from Charles Sturt University.
